  • * To release this clip you need to rotate the pick insert its flat side into the screen and twist it to increase the gap.
  • * When you feel and hear the releasing sound you can move ahead with the pick cutting through the adhesive.
  • * On The right edge you will only insert the 5 mm deep tip of the opening pick.
  • * Keep moving toward the power button of the phone.
  • * You have to leave the opening here near the power button. You know about inside-the-screen connections and spring contacts.

  • * Move the pick toward the bottom side turn it from the corner and take it to the button edge again.

  • * Move the first opening pick toward the top edge crossing the the power button.
  • * Cut the adhesive from the top right corner of the screen.
  • * If you feel difficulty moving the pick you can apply heat for melting the adhesive inside the screen edges.
  • * Along the top edges you will only 3 mm deep insert the pick.
  • * You will encounter two clips that need to be released to separate the screen.
  • * Slide the second opening pick and stop it below the volume down button.
  • * Along the left edges of the phone you will only insert the pick 2 mm deep.
  • * Take the first pick on the top left corner and turn it around to take it on the left edge of the phone.
  • * Don’t go across the side buttons.
  • * By twisting both the pick increases the gap for releasing the adhesive until you feel the screen is free.

  • * Lift the right side of the screen carefully, like opening a book’s cover.

  • * Keep the screen propped up to easily access the cables without putting any strain on them.

  • * Use a  Y000 screwdriver to unfasten Four 1.6 mm‑long screws and Two 1.3 mm‑long screws.
  • * You have to be careful while resembling, the screws should go back to the same hole where they come from.
  • * Turn the bottom of the logic board cover counterclockwise.
  • * Carefully slide the top left corner out from underneath the ambient light sensor cable.
  • * Once free remove the cover.

  • * Use the tip of an opening pick to gently pry up the battery press connector.
  • * Disconnect it from the bottom right corner of the logic board.
  • * Now it’s time to use the same opening pick or the flat tip spudger to pry up the screen cable connection.

 Insert it into the cable located in the center of the logic board and disconnect it.

  • * Now carefully slide the tip of an opening pick under the ambient light sensor cable at the top left corner of the logic board.
  • * Gently lift the cable to disconnect it.
  • * Remove the screen from the frame.

  • * Take the tip of an opening pick and gently pry up to disconnect the three rear camera press connectors located at the top right of the logic board.
  • * The third connector is tucked beneath the top one, so carefully lift the top cable a bit to expose the third connector.

  • * One is a 3.8 mm‑long screw, another one is a 3.2 mm‑long screw and the third one is a 2.8 mm‑long screw.

  • * Be careful not to touch or smudge the camera lenses during this step.
  • * Take your spudger and insert the tip between the top right corner of the rear cameras and the frame.

  • * Once you have a hold of them carefully lift the rear cameras out of the device.

  • * Make sure the correct fitting so that the press connector reaches to their connecting spot.

  • * As you know all three screws are in different sizes so be careful while putting these screws back.
  • * Use the same Phillips #000 screwdrivers to fasten these screws but be cautious don’t over tighten the screws.

  • * Do remember that the third connector is hidden just beneath the top one. You can see the third connector by slightly lifting the top cable.

  • * For reassembling the screen we need a new adhesive replacement strip. Actually the screen is not secure with old adhesive but for the time being you can reassemble the screen and use the phone. But this method is not appreciated.
  • * Well to install new replacement adhesive we have to clean the old adjective from the phone’s frame and the screen.
  • * Use a pointed tip spudger or a tweezer for peeling and removing the leftover adhesive
  • * Also you can apply a few drops of isopropyl alcohol and rub it with lint free or microfiber cloth to clean the frame and screen completely.
  • * Now take the new adhesive replacement and place it on the frame to see the cutouts and spring contacts.
  • * Now peel the large plastic liner from the pull tab to expose the sticky surface. But don’t completely remove it at this time. Just partially expose the sticky adhesive side.
  • * Carefully apply it on the frame from the bottom side.
  • * Gradually peel the large blue liner and keep applying the adhesive on the frame.
  • * Please make sure the adhesive application is aligned.
  • * Also remember if you apply the adhesive wrongly you can not re use it but remove and correct. You have to use a new adhesive replacement sheet.
  • * Press the adhesive down firmly using your hand or a flat-end spudger to secure it well to the frame.
  • * Remove the top plastic liner.

Step #15. Connect the Cables With the Logic Board

  • * Swing the screen in a propped-up position so you can easily access the connectors.
  • * Start by reconnecting the ambient light sensor cable to the logic board. Please make sure it aligns perfectly.
  • * Next connect the screen cable by carefully pressing it onto the logic board.
  • * After that reconnect the battery cable to the logic board. And  make sure it’s properly settled.
  • * When reconnecting a press connector make sure it’s lined up correctly with the socket. Gently press down on one side until you hear a click, then press the other side until it’s secure.
  • * Double-check that the connector sits flat as the rubber around the socket can sometimes prevent a proper connection. Make sure everything is properly connected and secure before moving on.

  • * Make sure you are using the right screws for each hole and that they are tightened back into their original positions.
