Note

If you mistakenly inserted the tool into the microphone hole don’t worry! It is usually not that you accidentally damaged the microphone.

Step #4. Apply Heat On the Back Glass Of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus

Step #4. Apply Heat On the Back Glass Of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus

* It’s time to apply heat on the back glass of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus.

* Use a heat gun or a hair dryer for heating the back glass to melt the adhesive between the frame and back glass.

* You can also use a straightener or a hot plate.

* Anyways you have to be careful while applying heat. Don’t apply it on any spot for a long time. The screen and the internal components may get damaged by the excessive heat.

* Apply heat on all the surfaces of the back glass.

* It will be helpful if you keep checking the warmth by touching your hand until the back glass gets too hot to touch.

Step #5. Apply Suction Handle

Step #5. Apply Suction Handle

* Place the suction handle on the back cover.

* Make sure it is as close to the center of the right edge as you can.

* Pull up steadily on the suction handle to start creating a gap between the cover and the frame.

* If you are having trouble forming the gap try applying a bit more heat to soften the adhesive.

* And then pull again.

Step #6. Insert Opening Pick

Step #6. Insert Opening pick

* Insert the opening pick into the gap that you have created.

* Don’t insert the pick too deep between the back glass and the frame.

* At this time we are working on the right edge of the phone

* Slide the opening pick to cut the Adhesive from the right edge of the device.

* Move along the right edge. Firstly you will go upward and separate the back glass then come downward and cut the adhesive through the bottom right corner.

* Keep moving the pick on the bottom edge of the phone.

* It’s up to you that you use only one pick to separate the back glass. Otherwise you can insert multiple Open picks where you feel needed.

* Now rotate the pick from the left corner.

* Now your pick is under the left edges of the phone

* Move the opening pick up ward cutting through the Adhesive between the back glass and the frame.

* Rotate the pick from the top right corner of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus.

Note

Note Note2

* There is a section of adhesive around the rear microphone located just above the flash.

* Position the tip of your opening pick in line with the flash.

* Gently slide the pick under the top edge of the back cover until it catches on the adhesive.

* Slowly move the pick downward toward the bottom of the phone while gently lifting the cover.

* Continue sliding the pick and lifting the cover until the adhesive releases and the back cover is free.

* Take your time and be cautious to avoid damaging the cover or other components.

Hold the back cover with your hand and remove it.

However if the cover feels sticky and hard to remove don’t try forcefully. Instead apply more heat or use an opening pick to cut the remaining adhesive that is keeping the back glass.

Step #7. Disconnect The Wireless Charging Cable From the  Motherboard

Step #7. Disconnect The Wireless Charging Cable From the Motherboard

* After removing the back glass you can easily locate the wireless charging press cable near the three cameras.

* Well it is very easy to pry up this * cable using a pointed tip spudger.

* With little force disconnect the Wireless Charging Coil Cable from the motherboard.

* Well there is an arrow printed on the board for the indication for where to apply pressure for disconnection.

Step #8. Open Screws From the Wireless Charging Coil and the Loudspeaker

Step #8. Open Screws From the Wireless Charging Coil and the Loudspeaker

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove a total of thirteen screws that hold both the wireless charging coil and the loudspeaker in place.

Step #9. Remove the Wireless Charging Coil and The Loudspeaker Step #9. Remove the Wireless Charging Coil and The Loudspeaker 3

* Now all the screws are removed and we can take the Loudspeaker out.

* We have to help with a pointed tip spudger.

* Insert the tip of a spudger into the notch at the top left corner of the loudspeaker where you will see a small arrow for guidance.

* Gently pry upward to unclip the loudspeaker from the phone’s frame.

* Be careful not to use too much force, just apply pressure enough to release the loudspeaker from its position.

* When you see  Loudspeaker has lifted enough to come into your finger’s grip, hold it with your hand and take it out of its arms.

* The Wireless Charging Coil is partially patched on the Loudspeaker’s assembly. Don’t peel it. Instead remove the charging coil and Loudspeaker’s assembly together.

* Then using the same spudger pry up the interconnect cables press connector and Disconnect them from the motherboard.

* Grab them with your finger one by one and remove them from the phone.

* You have to be very cautious not bend, crease, or puncture the battery. A damaged battery can leak harmful chemicals or catch fire.

* Peel the battery pull tab away from the battery and pull it towards the left edge of the phone.

* If you are struggling to lift the pull tab use a thin plastic tool, like an opening pick to gently pry up a corner.

* Never use metal tools on the battery or press into it.

* You will notice small clear tabs above and below the blue section of the pull tab. Separate these tabs from the rest of the pull tab.

* Bend the small tabs away from the battery to prevent them from getting in the way. You can even tape these tabs to the side of the phone or screen to keep them out of the way.

* If the tabs are not separated you will not be able to lift the battery in the next step.

Step #14. Lift And Remove the Battery From the Frame

Step #14. Lift And Remove the Battery From the Frame Step #14. Lift And Remove the Battery From the Frame 2

* The battery is secured with double-sided adhesive film

* This double sided film has folded underneath the battery. When you start lifting the battery by the pull tab the left edge will come up. But the right edge will still be stuck.

* You will remove the remaining adhesive and free the battery completely.

* Firmly hold down the phone’s frame with one hand. With the other pull the blue tab straight up at a 90º angle until the battery comes loose from the bottom layer of adhesive.

* If the battery is still stuck, apply 2–3 drops of high-concentration (90% or more) isopropyl alcohol to the left edge of the battery.

* Then tilt the phone slightly to let the alcohol work its way under the battery and soften the adhesive. Wait about one minute.

* Carefully lift the battery over the right edge of the phone.

* Be sure not to bend the battery.

* If needed peel some of the adhesive film away while lifting the battery before resting it over the phone’s edge.

* The battery is out now. But still you have to peel the remaining film from the frame for completely removing the battery.

* When it’s done remove the battery away from the frame.
