* Heat Gun/Hair Dryer.

* Tri‑point Y000 Screwdriver.

* Tweezers.

* Apply heat at the bottom edge first because it is safe to start cutting the adhesive from the bottom edge of the phone.

* Keep the back glass by touch with your hand. It’s enough to get too hot to touch.

* Place it in the center to create a gap quickly.

* Apply steady pressure while pulling the handle for gap creation. While pulling the back glass with a suction handle you should support the phone with your hand. A line gap is enough to insert the opening pick.

* Make sure the tape covers all broken areas to avoid injury and keep loose glass pieces in place.

* Leave a smooth, flat area near the bottom edge of the phone.

* Make sure this smooth area is large enough for a suction cup to attach securely for easier disassembly.

* Remove the suction handle.

* Well it is better to mark your opening pick on 3 mm measurements. This Marking will prevent deep insertion into the phone.

* When you start cutting through the adhesive you should secure the back glass. So you have to be cautious while inserting the pick between the rear glass and frame.

* Do not insert your tool deeper than 3 mm.

* Also avoid the area near the volume down button. Here a delicate cable connects the back glass to the phone.

* Make sure not to insert your opening pick here. As it could slice through the cable.

* Be aware of multiple spring contacts around the edges of the phone.

* Carefully avoid pushing the pick too deep as this can bend or damage the spring contacts.

* Now apply heat again. This time for the right edge of the iPhone 16.

* Use the same heating equipment that you have selected above.

* Please don’t apply excessive heat. Because extra heat can damage the battery and other internal components.

* Now start sliding the opening pick from the bottom right corner to the right edges of the iPhone 16.

* Be sure that you are not inserting the pick more than 3 mm deep in the right Edge of the phone. There are spring contacts that can be damaged.

* Don’t pick from the volume down button to the power button. There is a wireless charging cable that can be cut while cutting the adhesive crossing volume buttons.

* Here in the middle of the right edges you will feel the force stop. That is metal clips in the rear glass interested into the frame.

* Release the clips by twisting and turning the pick with steady force.

* Leave the opening pick inserted near the volume down button to prevent sticking the adhesive again.

* Again pick the hair dryer or the heat gun to apply heat at the left edge of the iPhone 16.

* After heating, insert another opening pick into the bottom edge and take it to the left edge of the phone.

* Keep sliding the pick toward the top left corner of the iPhone 16.

* Two metal clips will be there on the left edges of the iPhone 16. Release them and move ahead.

* Leave the pick inserted at the top left corner.

* Apply heat at the top edge of the iPhone 16.

* Turn the inserted pick from the top left corner to the top edges of the phone.

* Release the clips and cut through the adhesive from the top edge.

* Slide the pick to the top right corner.

* Now slide it from the top right corner and separate its adhesive.

* Now you are on the top right edge of the phone.

* Remember not to cross the power button to the down button.

* Just twisting and turning the pick will separate the adhesive from the power button to the volume down button.

* Now the whole adjective has separated. We can open the back cover like a book.

* Please open it from left to right. As you know, the right edge is still attached to the wireless charging cable.

* Set a stack of books or place a box for renting the back glass to prevent straining the cables.

* However if you feel any stop while opening the back glass don’t try forcefully. There may be any adhesive or clip that has been left from releasings. Use an opening pick to separate.

* You can even apply Heat to melt the remaining adhesive.

* The wireless charging cable and the battery are under the middle connector cover

* You will need a tri-point Y000 driver to open screws from the middle connector cover.

* Keep the screws aside for using them when assembling the back glass.

* Both screws are 1 mm long in this iPhone 16.

* Insert the point tip spudger into the cutouts of the middle connector cover.

* A hook of the middle connector cover is secured with a logic board.

* Slide the cover toward the left side of the phone to release the hook and separate the middle cover from the logic board.

* Once it is released, remove it from the phone.

* Use the pointed tip of the spudger to pry up the battery press connector.

* Disconnect the battery.

* With the same pointed tip spudger pry up the wireless charging cable and Disconnect it from the logic board.

* Remove the back glass of the iPhone 16 completely.

* It’s time to separate the screen from the frame to replace it.

* You have to apply heat on the screen too to melt the adhesive.

* Use a heat gun or a hair dryer for heat application.

* Don’t apply excessive heat as you know the internal components and battery can be damaged by the heat.

* Separating the screen from the bottom edge is more secure but you have to be careful while inserting the pick.

* After heating we apply the suction handle to pull up the screen’s bottom edge and create a line gap.

* With steady pulling you will see a line gap in the center.

* Insert your pick to cut the adhesive from the bottom edge.

* Move the pick back and forth to separate the adhesive from the screen and the frame.

* Now leave the pick here to prevent the screen from sticking again.

Step #14. Apply Heat on all the Edges of the iPhone 16 Front Side

* Now apply heat on all edges of the phone.

* Keep checking the screen surface with your hand until it gets too hot to touch.

* Now turn that inserted pick from the bottom right corner to the right edge.

* Slide the pick on the right edge and cut through the adhesive.

* Keep moving while releasing the metal clips of the screen. Also hear for the clip releasing sound.

* You are allowed to insert an opening pick 3 mm deep under all edges of the iPhone 16’s screen.

* Slide your opening pick around the top right corner of the phone.

* Gently move the pick along the top edge. You need to keep it under the glass to separate the adhesive.

* Continue sliding the pick until you reach the other corner. Also release the clips as you go.

* You will feel two metal clips holding the back glass in place on the top edge. Be careful not to bend or damage these clips.

* Slide the opening pick from the left edges and in the middle release the two last clips from the screen and the frame.

Be cautious of two delicate cables connecting the screen to the phone.

* One cable is located just above the Action button.

* The other cable is found halfway between the volume down button and the bottom of the phone.

Look out for multiple spring contacts around the edges of the phone.

* Be careful not to insert any tools too deep near these areas to avoid bending or damaging the contacts.

* Please make sure the screen is fully separated from the frame.

* However if the screen still feels stuck use your opening pick to go back around the edges.

* Check for any sections of adhesive or clips that may still be attached.

* Gently swing open the screen from the left edge of the phone.

* Support the screen using a clean, sturdy object to keep it steady during the repair process. You can use the stake of books or boxes to support the screen.

* The screen is still connected to the logic board.

* You will see two connector covers securing the screen cables.

* You need to use a tri-point Y000 driver for the 0.9 mm long screws on the metal covers.

* Remove the screws and hold them using a tweezer.

* Lift the front sensor cover to a 90-degree angle.

* Carefully unhook the cover from its slot in the logic board. And remove the front sensor cover.

* Again use tweezers or your fingers to gently lift the screen connector cover at a slight angle.

* Unhook the cover from its slot in the logic board.

* Lift the cover out of the slot and remove it completely.

Now the screen and the back glass of the iPhone 16 are removed and ready for replacement.

Please be careful when only replacing the iPhone 16 screen where you will not need to open the back cover. In that situation, you can not disconnect the battery from the logic board.

Don’t insert any metal tool into the screen to avoid damage.

Now the step begins to replace the iPhone 16’s Screen and then the iPhone 16 Back glass.

* If the new screen does not come with the pre-installed adhesive you need to apply the adhesive on your own.

* First check the adhesive strip placing it on the frame and idea by viewing cutouts and spring contacts.

* Peel the blue film from its pull tab. Only the bottom part should be exposed and applied to the frame.

* Slightly peel the larger blue sheet and keep sticking the exposed part on the frame.

* When you are done with the entire adhesive sheet press it with your hand or flat-end spudger to make the adhesive stick well with the frame.

* Now remove the top layer of the plastic liner.

* Align the connector carefully over its socket.

* Gently press down with your fingertip on one side then do the same for the other, until it clicks into place.

* Avoid forcing the connector. If it doesn’t fit easily, reposition it and try again.

* Insert the cover at a slight downward angle to re-engage the hook before laying it flat against the connector.

* For the second cover insert it at a 90-degree angle to re-engage the hook before laying it flat against the press connector.

* Fasten the screws to secure the connector cover in place.

* Peel off the adhesive final liner from the frame.

* Carefully align the screen with the phone’s frame and press down gently to make sure the adhesive sticks.

* Check that the screen sits flush with the frame without any gaps.

* Press gently but enough to stick the adhesive between the screen and the frame.

* Prepare for new adhesive by cleaning off the old adhesive from both the back glass and the phone’s body.

* Align the new adhesive sheet with the phone’s frame. You can use the camera cutouts and notches as a guide for proper orientation.

* Peel the blue liner from the lower side of the adhesive sheet and carefully place it at the bottom of the frame.

* Be cautious because once the adhesive sticks you will not be able to reposition it or reuse the same adhesive.

* Gradually peel the liner while sticking the adhesive from the bottom up, making sure it aligns with the frame as you go.

* Press down with your fingers to ensure the adhesive is securely attached to the frame.

* Then remove the protective liner from the adhesive.

* Use a box to prop the screen up for easy access while connecting the charging coil and NFC connector.

* Place the charging coil cover over the connectors. Please make sure to hook it securely onto the logic board.

* Secure the cover by fastening it with screws using a tri-point Y000 driver.

* Reconnect the battery to the logic board by pressing the connector in place.

* Hook the battery cover into its slot and fasten it with the two screws to secure it.

* Peel off the final adhesive liner and carefully align the back glass with the phone’s frame.

* Press gently around the edges to make sure the back glass sticks properly and also make sure the clips lock securely into the frame.

* Locate the two small Pentalob screw holes on either side of the charging port.

* Use a P2 Pentalob driver to insert the screws and carefully tighten them into place.

* Make sure the screws are snug but avoid over-tightening. Because this action could damage the frame.

* Once the screws are fastened press and hold the power button to turn on the iPhone 16.

* Wait for the Apple logo to appear. Then confirm that the phone is powering up properly.

* Check the screen and other components to make sure everything is functioning as expected after the repair.

* If everything works fine your reassembly is complete and the iPhone 16 is ready to use.
