*Heat the adhesive with a heat gun, hair dryer, or hot plate.

*Please be careful while heating. Not to give excessive heat because the battery is susceptible to heat damage.

*Well keep checking the warmth by touching it with your hands. When you feel it is too hot to touch stop heating the phone.

Precautions

*If your phone’s screen or back glass is badly cracked, put layers of packing tape over it. This protects your hands from sharp edges and makes it easier to take apart.

*Make sure there’s a smooth area near the bottom of the phone where a suction cup can stick. This will help you lift the glass more efficiently during the repair process.

Step #6. Place Suction Handle

Step #6. Place Suction Handle

*After heating you have to apply a Suction tool to the bottom of the iPhone 15 Plus’s back glass, but quickly.

*Pull the handle of the Suction tool to create a line gap for the opening pick’s insertion.

*Please apply strong and steady force so that you can avoid any hassle.

Step #7. Insert Opening Pick

Step #7. Insert Opening pick

*When you see a line gap between the back glass and frame it means the opening pick is ready to be inserted.

*Insert an opening pick into the gap.

Precautions

*Be careful not to insert the opening pick too far as this can damage your device. To avoid this you should mark your pick to know the safe depth.

*Start by measuring 3 mm from the tip of the opening pick and make a mark with a permanent marker. This mark will help you know how far to insert the pick without causing harm.

*You can also mark the other edges of the pick with different measurements to help with different parts of the repair.

*Another option is to tape a small coin to the pick 3 mm from the tip to stop it from going too deep.

Step #8. Separate The Bottom Edge Adhesive

Step #8. Separate The Bottom Edge Adhesive 2 Step #8. Separate The Bottom Edge Adhesive

*Now move the opening pick to cut the adhesive from the bottom edge of the iPhone.

*Here you have the option to leave the pick to prevent the bottom edge from resealing again.

*Please be cautious while inserting the opening pick as it does not go in more than 5 mm long.

*Try to leave the pick on the bottom right edge of the back Glass. Because we will continue cutting the adhesive from the right edges.

Step #9. Heat the Right Edge of the iPhone 15 Plus

Step #9. Heat the Right Edge of the iPhone 15 Plus

*Apply heat properly as we suggested above, and then move the opening pick from the phone’s left edge.

*Rotate the pick carefully and cut the adhesive in the top left corner.

*Feel the click sound as the top edge has two securing clips.

*Please don’t insert the pick deeper than 3 mm long inside.

*Well at this time you are on the top right edge. All the sides are separated except for the volume button on the top right edge.

*Here you have to apply more heat for a while. Now rotate the pick carefully from the top right corner.

*Gently slide it toward the volume keys and gently twist the pick near them.

*Don’t insert the opening pick over 4 mm long near the volume button.

Step #13. Open The Back Glass

Step #13. Open The Back Glass Step #13. Open The Back Glass2

*Gently open the back glass from the left side and swing to the right side.

*The back glass will not be separate at this stage cause it is still cable-connected.

*If you feel stuck at any spot, don’t try harder. You need to cut the adhesive using an opening pick. Maybe this is the securing clip so you can twist the pick up and down until the clip is released.

*Place a box or something similar to rest the back glass to avoid straining cables.

Step #14. Unfasten The Lower Connector Cover Screws & Remove

Step #14. Unfasten The Lower Connector Cover Screws & Remove Step #14. Unfasten The Lower Connector Cover Screws & Remove2

*Clean the phone’s frame using isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free or microfiber cloth to remove any leftover adhesive or dust. This will make sure a smooth surface for the new adhesive.

*Before adding any adhesive you need to temporarily connect the new battery to the phone. Place the battery in its spot to make sure it fits properly and that the battery cable reaches the socket on the logic board.

*After checking the fit please disconnect the battery before moving forward with the rest of the steps.

*The replacement battery will come with the pre-installed adhesive. If in your case you have only a battery without stretch-release adhesive you can apply thin, double-sided tape to secure it.

*Otherwise follow next “How To Install Stretch-Release Adhesive. “

How To Install Stretch-Release Battery Adhesive

How To Install Stretch-Release Battery Adhesive How To Install Stretch-Release Battery Adhesive2 How To Install Stretch-Release Battery Adhesive3 How To Install Stretch-Release Battery Adhesive4 How To Install Stretch-Release Battery Adhesive5 How To Install Stretch-Release Battery Adhesive6

*First of all please note where the old adhesive was located. It will help you to get a quick idea about applying the new stretch-release adhesive.

*Make sure the surface is clean when applying the stretch-release adhesive.

*Apply the adhesive to the back side of the replacement battery. If you feel it is a little too long for the battery, you can cut it to make the proper length. To cut, you have to measure and mark the strip.

*Firstly remove the small sections of blue film covering the ends of the adhesive strips. Please don’t remove the entire blue liner—just the parts covering the pull tabs.

*Next is carefully align the exposed portions of the adhesive strips along the edge of the front side of the battery and press them gently into place. Some devices have the battery pull tabs near the top, while others place them near the bottom, so check which position works for your iPhone 15 Plus.

*It’s important to get the alignment right the first time because once the adhesive strips stick to the battery, they can’t be moved or adjusted.

*Now place the battery face down on a flat surface. Starting at the cut end of the adhesive strips peel off the large blue film that covers the strips. If you have trouble starting the peel near the cut section you can use tweezers to help lift the blue layer.

*With the adhesive strips exposed use your fingertip to gently roll them over the bottom edge of the battery. You are also moving toward the back. Make sure not to pull or stretch the strips as you apply them. Lay the strips flat on the back of the battery and use your fingers or a cloth to press them down firmly.

*Carefully remove the remaining piece of blue film to fully expose the adhesive strips. Then lightly place the battery in the phone.

*Temporarily plug in the battery connector to check if the cable reaches the socket. But make sure to disconnect the battery before you continue with the reassembly.

*Finally press the battery into place and proceed with the further reassembling.

Precautions

*Be careful not to apply adhesive over ribbon cables or delicate parts such as NFC or wireless charging coils. Also try not to place the adhesive too close to sensitive components that could be damaged.

*When cutting the adhesive strips make sure your scissors are sharp. Dull scissors can make the adhesive sticky and messy. It might force you to start with new strips.

*If the blue film is defective and doesn’t peel off properly you may need to discard the strips and use new ones.

*For this first of all please make sure the edges of the phone and the back glass are perfectly clean.

*Otherwise please remove old adhesive by scrubbing with the pointed tip spudger or peel using a tweezer.

*You can also use isophyle Alcohol and rubbing with the lint-free cloth.

*Start by positioning the replacement adhesive over the phone’s frame. The larger blue liner should be on the underside with the pull tab located in the bottom right corner.

*Use features like the camera cutout and the notches along the top and bottom edges to help you visualize how the adhesive should fit into the frame.

*Gently pull back the blue liner using the pull tab to expose just the bottom edge of the adhesive. Keep the blue liner lifted out of the way as you align the adhesive with the bottom edge of the iPhone 15 Plus.

*Place the bottom edge of the adhesive into its spot in the frame. You need to make sure that the iPhone’s spring contacts are properly lined up with the cutouts in the liner.

*As you work your way up apply the adhesive along the sides of the phone. Now peel the blue liner back as you go. If the adhesive isn’t perfectly straight gently adjust the long edges to align with the frame.

*Double-check that the notches along the top edge match up with the frame. Slowly press the top edge of the adhesive into place and carefully peel off the rest of the blue liner.

*Use the flat end of a spudger tool to press the adhesive firmly along the perimeter of the frame but be careful not to touch the spring contacts sticking through the pink liner.

*Finally use the small pull tab in the top right corner to remove the pink liner from the adhesive.
