However during the process the screen will come out in two parts. The first one is the front glass which should not be damaged. And the other one is the display panel. This process for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus screen removal will destroy the screen. So don’t try if you are willing to reuse the old screen. Additionally if you accidentally cracked the front glass you will have to replace both the front glass and the display panel. When reassembling the back cover you will need adhesive to stick the back cover with the frame. With that said let’s get started with the process.

* When you are satisfied with the right application please pull the suction handle with the steady force.

* Look for the line gap to insert the opening pick between the frame and the back cover.

* Do pull the cover with extra force. Apply more heat if this action is tough.

* When you see enough gap has been created between the back glass and the frame you can insert an opening pick.

* Be careful to insert the pick too deep inside the back cover.

* Slide the pick pick to cut the adhesive from the right edge of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus.

* Move the pick toward the bottom top right corner then slide it again toward the bottom right corner to separate the back glass from the frame.

* You will have to leave the pick hear to prevent the adhesive from sticking again.

* Use the heat gun or the hair dryer for heat application.

* Apply adequate heat at all edges of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus.

* Please make sure not to apply excessive heat on any side cause extra heating can damage the battery or internal components.

*You can check the heat by touching your hands and keep applying the heat until it is too hot to touch.

* Move ahead and keep cutting the adhesive.

* Slide the pick pick from the bottom edge and going through cutting the adhesive from the bottom left corner take the pick on the left edge side.

*Move the opening pick upward on the left edge of the Samsung Galaxy S24+ and take it to the top left corner.

* Now rotate the opening pick from the top left corner to separate it.

* Now your opening pick is on the top edge of the phone.

* Move the pick back and forth to separate the back cover from the top edge too.

* Don’t insert the opening pick too deep.

* Additionally you can use more than one opening pick for your ease. Leave your opening pick here.

* You will find a square of adhesive around the rear microphone. So you need to be positioned just above the flash.

* Take an opening pick and align its tip with the flash.

* Gently slide the pick under the top part of the back cover. You will start to feel some resistance as it hits the adhesive.

* Slowly move the pick downward toward the bottom of the phone. As you go lift the cover slightly to loosen it from the adhesive.

* Keep lifting gently until the back cover completely separates from the adhesive.

*Carefully lift and remove the back cover.

* If the cover doesn’t come off smoothly use an opening pick to gently pry apart any adhesive that might have stuck back in place.

* The back cover of the Samsung Galaxy S24+ has no wire attached to it.

* No pick a pointed tip spudger for pryung up the wireless charging coil press connector.

* Do this action gently and separate the connection from the motherboard.

* If you will see carefully there is an arrow printed on the board that indicates from which direction you should apply the pressure for prying the connection cables.

* We will open the screws from the charging coil and loudspeaker that are located at the bottom of the phone.

* Use the Phillips screwdriver to open these 3.5 mm long thirteen screws.

* From these thirteen screws six screws are securing the wireless charging coil at the top side and seven screws are securing the loudspeaker at the bottom.

* Place the tip of a spudger into the small notch at the top left corner of the loudspeaker where you will see an arrow as a guide.

* Carefully pry upward to release the loudspeaker from the phone’s frame.

* When the loudspeaker comes out hold it with your fingers and lift it upward.

* Remove the wireless charging coil and loudspeaker from the frame.

* It’s time to pick a spudger and pry up the screen cable at the bottom edge of the phone.

* Disconnect it from the bottom side.

* Again use the same pointed tip spudger for disconnecting the screen cable from the upper side,

* Remove the display cable.

* Gently place the back cover on the frame to protect the battery and internal components while you work.

* There is no need to apply new adhesive just yet as you will need to take the cover off again later to finish the reassembling. The old adhesive should hold it in place for now.

* Now flip your phone so the screen is facing up and you are ready to move on to removing the screen.

* It’s time for the screen removal. You melt the adhesive between the screen and the frame.

* Apply heat for a while.

* Keep moving the heat gun or the hair dryer so as not to damage the screen constantly and give heat to one spot.

* Also don’t apply excessive heat than the recommended time.

* You can check the screen with your hand and stop the heat application if the screen is too hot to touch.

* If the screen is damaged or badly cracked please don’t forget to apply packing tape for protecting yourself from the added glass.

* Apply the packing tape strips all over the screen.

* Make sure there is a smooth area on the screen when you can apply the Suction Handle.

* The gap between the front glass and the frame is really small. So you will need a thin and firm tool to create the first opening.

* Also keep these safety tips in mind as you remove the front glass. Don’t hold any sharp metal tools by their edges with your bare hands. They can easily cut you.

* The front glass might break and scatter tiny pieces. So wearing gloves and safety glasses is a good idea to keep yourself safe.

* Place a suction cup on the smooth area of the phone’s screen.

* It would be better to choose the top edge for sperating the screen and frame at first. Apply it as close to the edge of the top screen as possible.

* Here you need to create a line gap between the display panel and the front glass.

* Pull the suction cup with steady force.

* When to you see a line gap insert opening tool into the gap between the front glass and the display panel.

* Here you have be careful with this step. Only insert the tool just far as needed. Too deep insertion of the tool can damage the front facing camera.

* You should insert the opening tool downward angle in the notch between the top edge of the glass and the display panel.

* With gentl pushes try to increase the gap between the glass and the panel. While you can pull suction handle steadily.

* Normally with other phones we remove the screen and the display together but with S24 it is normal to peel the front glass first and then remove the display panel in the next step.

* However with the insert plastic opening pick you can move around all the edges and separting the front glass away from the display panel.

* You can also use a hair dryer or a heat gun to melt the adhesive until the screen gets enough warm if it is difficult to cut the Adhesive and sliding the pick along the adges.

* Completely peel the front glass.

* At this stage we can lift the front glass with the help of fingers and remove it from the phone

* Please be careful with front glass. If it accidentally got damage during the removal procedure you have to change both the front glass and the display.

* Now insert an opening pick under the display panel.

* In this display removal procedure of you are having difficulty moving the pick under the display panel you can apply heat using a heat gun or a hair dryer. Heat will soften the adhesive.

* Keep sliding the opening pick along All the adges under the display panel to separate it from the frame.

* At the bottom edge of the display there are several components attached to the back.

* Gently insert your opening pick under these components.

* Be cautious as you slide the pick to avoid damaging anything under the display.

* Hold onto one corner of the display panel and slowly pull it away from the frame to release the remaining adhesive.

* To make removal easier slide an opening pick under the display to loosen any leftover adhesive. Please be sure not to damage the front camera.

* Once the adhesive is fully separated carefully remove the display panel.

So finally with this step we have removed the screen and the back glass of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus.

Further steps are for reassembling the screen and the back glass with making all the connections that we had removed.

* You need to place it without front glass.

* Check the cutouts and and front facing camera that the panel is correct align on the frame.

* Place the front glass on the display

* Perfectly align it and gently press with your finger so that it can stick and secure with frame.

* The screen is done now.

* Firstly place the display cable on the connections sockets.

* With the help of your finger or using a spudger connect the display press connector with the new display near the bottom edge.

* Now connect the display press connector to the mother board on the above.

* As you can see in the picture the display connector is going across the battery and connecting display and the motherboard.

* For reassembling the Loudspeaker you need to press the the Loudspeaker’s assembly around it’s all edges.

* Make sure all the clips get secure with frame.

* Make sure the Loudspeaker is aligned.

* Correct the wireless charging coil.

* Secure the Loudspeaker and the wireless charging coil with the thirteen screws.

* Six 3.6 mm long screws are for the wireless charging coil and ther seven are for Loudspeaker.

* Carefully align the press connector with its socket.

* Gently press down on one side of the connector then the other until you hear a click.

* Avoid forcing it. If it doesn’t connect easily lift it and adjust the position, then try again.

* Now connect the wireless charging coil press cable with the motherboard.

* This is a good time to turn on your phone and check if everything is working before closing it up.

* Make sure to power the phone off completely before you continue with the repair.

* After the repair keeping water resistance depends on how well you apply the back cover adhesive. But your phone will lose its official water resistance rating (IP rating).

* Use tweezers or your fingers to remove the old adhesive from both the back cover and the phone.

* If the adhesive is hard to remove use heat or isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher) to help loosen it.

* A lint-free cloth or coffee filter can be helpful to clean the surface without leaving fibers behind.

* Peel clear liner by pulling the tab on the top of the Adhesive sheet.

* Carefully place its stick side on the frame. Make sure the alignments are right.

* Now presss with hand to stick the stops on the frame.

* Peel the to clear liner to expose the top layer of the sticky adhesive.

* Gently press down along the edges to bond the adhesive to the back cover.

* For a better seal place a heavy flat object (like a stake of book) on top of the back cover and apply consistent pressure.

* If you notice any gaps try gently squeezing the edges with your fingers.

* If the gap is still there remove the back cover and check for any issues like loose screws or connectors that aren’t seated properly. Fix any irregularities before trying again.
